The exhaust air heat exchanger extracts energy from warm moist air, while the waste water heat exchanger uses the heat from the waste water to preheat the cold supply water. The EnergyPlus heat recovery reduces operating costs, improves the climate in the kitchen and also reduces the energy consumption of the machine.
